Point News- Point News is a Point Park University television show that airs live at 2PM on Thursdays. It is a joint effort by Paul Coatworth's Multi-Camera Video and Directing class, Maria Kakay's Editing and Producing the News class and Michelle Wright's Broadcast News Writing class. It is the only show at Point Park University that is live. During my time at Point Park University I was involved in this class for 3 semesters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

POINT PARK UNIVERSITY: While attending school at Point Park University, I co-produced, co-hosted and was the news correspondent for a weekly radio show called Broadways Best that aired on Point Park's radio station, WPPJ (670 AM), from the Spring of 2012 to the Spring of 2013. I then went on to host and produce my own show on WPPJ called Broadway Babies which aired from Fall of 2013 to Spring of 2015. Some of my weekly duties included creating the show from top to bottom, deciding which songs would be played during each show and also deciding what type of broadway news to cover on the show.
 

I was also involved with the campus television station The Catch (Crew), Entertainment on Point (Director/Crew), To the Point (Crew), Daybreak (Cooking Correspondent, On-Air Personality, Crew), Pioneer Sideline (Crew), Ear Candy (Crew).
